ESPN is looking extra funny in the light. A report claims the network tried to replace renowned sports analyst Jemele Hill after tweeting facts about Donald Trump, but her colleagues were like, “That’s a no from me, dog.”
Despite Sarah Huckabee’s call from a White House podium to fire her for tweeting that Trump is a white supremacist, Hill was still on SportsCenter that night, next to co-host Michael Smith.
But it turns out ESPN tried to get her f the show, and failed.
Reports Think Progress:
Clearly, they must not have asked Sunken Place Stage Steele.
Anyway, Eaves subtweeted the struggle earlier that day.
Of course, ESPN has denied that’s how things went down. Yeah, okay.
It’s a wonderful thing to see Jemele Hill’s colleagues form like Voltron to protect one their own.
If ESPN does try sidelining Hill, trust there will be hell to pay.
